Hi Tammy,

Well, yes, I am overwhelmed often myself, though not because of the plan -- it's usually because of the length of my to-do list, which includes a lot that has nothing to do with my business vision. If I was left to work just on what's in here, I'll be like a kid in candy store. ;-)

Wow....this looks like a plan. Start slow and you will get there. I get so overwhelmed when I dream to big. A plan is great. Step by step. You know we can learn a great deal from our children....baby steps.

Just a thought:

You might be building this up too much.

The Grand Canyon wasn't made by someone saying, "OK I'm going to make the most massive canyon ever!" It was just a river that kept running.

Please see Getting Real by 37 Signals : http://gettingreal.37signals.com/

My favorite point in their books is to just start, start now, start small. Provide something of value immediately, constantly improve it, and keep going. Build things to satisfy an immediate need instead of an imagined future need.

Psychologically, I think this helps us start. It's not intimidating. It's not huge. It's just writing another song and making another blog post. Once a day, one day at a time.

Great to know that you've got this goal and plan, to make sure you're heading the direction you intended. But it's more important to just do it on a day-to-day level, then in a few months it may be time to register an LLC, another domain name, etc.

No need to do all that logistical stuff up-front. Wait until it's absolutely necessary.

Just my personal opinion. :-)

Hi Brian,

Thanks! Well -- I am still benefiting from MCMP. Yes, a lot of what I heard so far was not new, but you'd be amazed how knowing is just the beginning. We know a lot, but we don't always (or even often) do what we know. So MCMP is making a great impact on making what I already know implemented in my life.

Fantastic, Ari. You have a well articulated vision, with drive behind. Nothing should stop you.

Ari, you seem to have everything it takes. I'm not even sure why you're in MCMP ;-). Even the peripheral energy I get off you is enough to inspire me to anyone else. When you do start up your own version of the mentoring program I'm sure you'll lead plenty of musicians to their goals.
