I’m pleased to share with you the first fruit of my collaboration with my singer Bob Yang. When he listened to my first album he was really drawn to the album closer “Lucy Struck Out.” He saw a connection between its lyrics and an episode from Hmong history — and he suggested we rename it “The Must-Save List.” When I heard that, I knew that that was the name that should have been given to this song all along — Lucy never really sat with me as its rightful name.
Nothing else is changed except for the vocals, but what a difference it makes! I hope you enjoy it.
