First Day of Freedom: Dancing Naked in the Kitchen

Today is a very special day.

I worked very hard on this demanding project at my day job for the last 2 years.  Over the course I accumulated so much vacation time, which I’ll lose if I don’t take it.  So now that the bulk of the project is delivered, I got permission to take a whopping 4 weeks off!  And it starts today!

The pandemic being what it is, I am not going anywhere except for a few nights to a nearby state park… the rest of the time, I am going to make music full time!

This is a big deal for me, friends.  It’s like a little taste of what it’s like to live the dream.  I have a batch of new originals stocked up ready to record.  I also plan to blog and make some YouTube videos, though the latter won’t be my focus.  I am going to be a recording artist for 4 weeks!

So guess what I did first?  I cleaned my kitchen…. To me life starts in the kitchen! 🤣 While rocking out to my favorite inspiration machines like SHEL’s  “Run 2.0″ and Shinedown “Cut the Cord”.

Really — if you see me dancing naked in the kitchen, that means I am feeling good.  And that means a lot. I went through some very trying times the last few years, so it’s very special to find myself feeling this good.

Stay tuned, I’ll be reporting my progress!
